Auctions Help Furnish Homes for Families.

The Furniture Bank auctions are held in February and August each year to raise money to support our costs of providing FREE pickup for furniture donations and FREE furniture items for families in need. The auctions allow the Furniture Bank to receive donated items that are functionally or size inappropriate for the families, but still helpful in pursuing our mission. For example, 3 pieces of furniture auctioned at $150+ each provides 2 families with 12-14 pieces of furniture each.

Our number one goal is always to provide for the needs of the client, even when fundraising is challenging.

Each auction raises enough funding to provide FREE furniture for 175-250 families in need. The auctions are 95% volunteer-run with more than 50 volunteers helping the day of the event and many additional volunteers helping to prepare the month before. The Furniture Bank is pleased to offer delivery of auctioned items for a small fee.
