Annual Board Strategic Planning Meeting

Belinda … “They picked up a couch and a chair from me today. They were very nice and I am calling to thank them for moving that very heavy chair for me. They did a great job and they were very pleasant.”

Michelle … “The men delivered my furniture today and they were very helpful. Now I have everything I need. The Furniture Bank was a pleasure to work with. I had lost everything due to a flood and I had nothing. This is such a blessing. It is like I have the world in my hands now. Before the house was just a shell for me and my three daughters.”

Brian … “Everyone enjoyed their time volunteering at the Furniture Bank. I felt the afternoon was well organized, with the tour of the facility and introduction to mission of the organization followed by simple enough tasks that we could all get to work quickly and feel like we accomplished something over a short period of time.  For me personally, it's easy in day-to-day life to forget about those less fortunate and I appreciated the opportunity to give back in a small way -- thanks!”
