Commercial Donations

The Furniture Bank depends on donations to furnish homes for families, so we are pleased to provide FREE pickup at commercial and institutional locations within 3 hours of Columbus. Items such as beds, mattresses, sofas, chairs and tables are much needed by our clients. We are often able to come to your location with 48 hours notice, but prefer a week or more notice when possible.

We have a long list of hotel and college references, most of whom are multi-year partnerships. Our reputation includes:            - Careful pre-planning and evaluation            - Commitment to meet your timing requirements            - Professional, courteous and efficient teams and team leaders   We are a registered 501(c)(3) organization. You will promptly receive an itemized Tax Receipt for your entire donation.  Consult your tax professional regarding deductability.

Commercial Service Area is approximately 175 from Columbus, Ohio (3 hours).

Scheduling - 48 hours minimum notice; please provide a week or more whenever possible.

We Handle Large Pickups - No job is too big - Our professional staff handles large pickups, such as: 1,000 mattresses; 300 hotel rooms; or 425 dorm rooms.

Multiple Trucks - we can bring multiple trucks if we can fill them.

Accepting Mattresses in ALL conditions - we deconstruct and recycle those unfit for re-use.

Tax Deductible - we are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit; please consult your tax professional.

Itemized Tax Receipt - is provided within a week of pickup.

References are available - from hotels, colleges, furniture retailers, and furnished apartments.

Please, we CANNOT accept - worn furniture with rips, tears, and stains, waterbeds / platform beds, furniture, and large desks / metal desks.
