Personal Information:   This notice applies to all information collected on The Furniture Bank does not collect information about the site visitor, unless he or she specifically fills out an online form for a donation or a request to be added to our mailing/newsletter list.     - Credit/Debit Card Information - This information is taken in a secure environment, and all data is passed in encrypted form to our processor. We do not retain any account numbers.

You also have the option to submit information about other people or request more or more specific information from the Furniture Bank when you donate online. For example, you can submit a donation in honor or in memory of an individual; advise us if you want to make your donation a monthly gift; request more information about the Furniture Bank's auto-deduct monthly giving program; and let us know if you prefer to receive acknowledgment of your donation via email, U.S. mail or not at all. This information is not mandatory for processing. The Furniture Bank does not sell or share donor information with other organizations.

Internet Protocol Addresses & Cookies:   We do not collect individual IP addresses or use "cookies."


SSL:   All information provided to Furniture Bank of Central Ohio is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. PCI DSS:   Online donations and other financial transactions completed through Furniture Bank donation pages are PCI DSS Compliant. PCI DSS is the payment card industry security requirement for entities that store, process or transmit cardholder data. The Furniture Bank is tested on a regular basis by a third party to ensure compliance.

Internal Security Policies:   Account information is placed in secure portions of our Site that are only accessible by certain qualified employees of the Furniture Bank.
