The Furniture Bank staff works hard to ensure that money donated to the Furniture Bank is used to furnish homes for families. We keep our program, staff, and fund-raising costs as low as possible.
100% of every donor dollar goes directly to programs and services. We pay for our administrative and fundraising expenses with funding generated by fee for service and earned income.
Because we generate 35% of our own funding through fees-for-service and social enterprise activities, every $1.00 donated by the community becomes $1.54 in funding to cover expenses.
We do not receive government reimbursement for program services. While we are not a United Way agency, we happily accept donations through United Way's Donor Choice option.
