We are THRILLED to announce that we are once again safely seeing local families IN-PERSON for furniture selection in our showroom! After shifting to a remote furniture selection model since the onset of COVID-19, we saw our first in-person family at the Furniture Bank in the middle of May, including Stanley pictured above- a proud, recent foster parent to his 13-year-old niece- who was able to pick out furniture for his niece’s new bedroom!
We are so thankful to once again see their smiling faces as they walk up and down the many rows of furniture we can provide. By providing our families with the opportunity to hand-select the furniture pieces that will fill their home, our hope is that they can enjoy a more personalized and dignified experience at the Furniture Bank.
THANK YOU to every volunteer, donor, agency, and staff member who has made this milestone possible! We could not have made this transition back to in-person selection without your support, kindness, and dedicated efforts over the last few months.
